People just want to see the Lakers, and most importantly Kobe Bryant lose, and that is why Spur fan by and large will root for the Heat.

Kobe haters around the world have been incensed these last two seasons. Watching Kobe hoist back to back LOB's as the undisputed leader of the team and win two Final's MVPs must have been gut wrenching for them. Completely put to bed their wild accusations that he could never lead a team to a championship.

It's pretty sad.

I am a Pistons fan who has sung the praises of both the Spurs of the middle of this past decade and of Kobe Bryant since 2006. I cheer for the Heat because we have a guy who left money and stature behind in Cleveland to go play on one of the greatest teams we may ever see. I don't hate the Lakers anymore (I haven't since Shaq left). I don't fit your mold.
