It's nothing against the Cavs. They just don't have the talent, balance or leadership. It's to be expected when you lose a player the caliber of Lebron.
I just can't believe these LA fans are so desperate to prop up Kobe that they say these wild things.
I guess in hindsight, it was crazy to say a team will be 40 wins worse, but when you looked at their team, it didn't seem that crazy.

It isn't just talent, though. I don't think the Cavaliers teams of the mid-90's (Brandon, Phills, Mills) were that much better than this one talent-wise. Yet those were compe ive teams.
The psychological baggage as well as the lack of talent is what is killing this team. It's no coincidence that this slide into began the night LeBron came back to Cleveland.
This team as currently constructed, without LeBron having played here, would be better. Not good, but better.

definitely lakers. they will be coming back from a failed 2010-2011 season. Kobe will be asking for trades. Gasol dead dog tired, Kobe fall off an even bigger cliff and Fisher 6 feet under. got no young prospects. etc, etc.

Why you think that Cavs recover from that ? No LeBron type guy in draft, still got Jamison and Mo Williams contracted. And I think they won`t fire Byron Scott. They will be the weakest one next year.

no, we're not going to be playoff material for a couple of years, but we're hardly going to be the tiest team in the league.
i'd argue that a couple of years in the lottery are going to help the nuggs more than another 3 years of first round exists for the mavs. 2014 the nuggs will be in much better shape than Dallas.
