It's still a question how good Pryor will be against more athletic defenses (we'll see that when they play Miami this year), but his passing flaws aren't nearly as bad as people say. He plays in a run heavy pro style offense, it's not like he's told to put up 350 yards and 4 touchdowns every week. If he played in a spread and still put up those mediocre passing numbers, the criticism would be warranted. Plus he just took his team to a Rose bowl win in spite of Tressell's annual play calling in bowl games.
