LOL he's just ting on the Prem League at this point.
Andy has been in the league 4-5 years... and grew into the style that is "English Football"... Javier Hernández was grafted in just this season... He has managed to inflict his damage in limited minutes, scored several game winners... and under the demanding pressure of a big club like Man-U...
It's close between the two, I'll give you that... but those things I pointed out above separate the two players in my mind...
LOL he's just ting on the Prem League at this point.
fck him, when can we sell him for +60m pounds
Pele: Hernandez can be next Messi

Brazil legend Pele has been impressed by the impact made by Manchester United's Javier Hernandez this season and thinks the Mexican can be 'the next Lionel Messi'.

• Hubbard: Best signings of season
Pele has watched on as the 22-year-old has taken the Premier League by storm with 13 goals in 26 Premier League appearances for the club since his arrival in the summer. And the Brazilian has heaped praise onto the striker.
"There is no doubt that Hernandez is a promising player. He is excellent, I have seen some games of his on television and he is a fantastic footballer," Pele told a press conference. ''He could be the next Messi because he has great talent; he is a big surprise just as Hugo Sanchez was because he is another that scores a lot of goals.
"We should wait a little, because we still don't know how he will play in the Mexican team... but without doubt, he has huge potential."
However, Pele spoke in less glowing terms of the World Player of the Year, claiming that he has yet to replicate his club form for his country.
"There is a big difference between Barcelona's Messi and Argentina's Messi. When Messi plays in the Seleccion he is not the same player," he concluded.

Push the breaks there pele.
Yeah... Javier Hernández is an excellent finishing striker... has a great feel for where he should be around the box... very opportunistic in his attacking style and thus far, highly efficient with his shot selections...
That said, Chicharito is no where near Messi's level, as far as playmaking ability is concerned...
lol his similar to owen from liverpool...
Why do people insist in comparing players? can Messi be the next Maradona, Hernandez the next Messi... Chicharito is turning into a great player in his own right. We'll see how far his skill takes him.
Did you see Owen play for Liverpool? He and Hernandez have a very similar playing style, both hang off the last man and time their runs to perfection and both have blistering speed.
It's not like comparing the two is an insult to Hernandez![]()
Javier Aguirre is comparing him to Fernando Torres.
This. It's ing stupid.
LOL @ comparing a 22 year old the next Messi, a 23 year old.
CROFL @ Pele stating this:
There really isn't a big difference. Barcelona's Messi is surrounded by Barcelona's players and Argentina's Messi is surrounded by Argentina's players, that's the big difference jackass. Argentina's attacking midfielders, or lack thereof, is a big factor in the debate. Messi has to do everything for the team when he plays for Argentina. However, Pele spoke in less glowing terms of the World Player of the Year, claiming that he has yet to replicate his club form for his country.
"There is a big difference between Barcelona's Messi and Argentina's Messi. When Messi plays in the Seleccion he is not the same player," he concluded.
But of course it's in your best interest, Pele, to perpetuate this popular myth![]()
Pele you are arguably the GOAT, but you're football takes are horrible.comparing Barcelona to Argentina.
If Hernandez wins the golden ball someday watch Pele start criticizing him.
It's dumbfounding how a player who was that good could be so stupid about Football, even a fair weather Man United fan who's never been to Manchester could tell you that Barcelona is a ing stacked team and Argentina are Average - Good.
I think that his awful football takes have a lot to do with the fact that he's a bitter old man that needs to bring any player that shows some kind of greatness down to feel better about himself.
chicharito!!!!!
Chicharito is a bad mofo...
