Bottom line, Rockets wouldn't be 0-5 right now if we hadn't traded Ariza and Landry away.
    Good point. Especially Landry.

Ariza just needed some time to recover from the shock of getting run out of California.

Landry was critical. Our highest efficiency player. He had heart and he would go after loose balls and stand in the lane and take a shot in the face on a charge. He just did whatever you asked of him and that dude just plain scored. We can do without Ariza but not Landry. I think we could have developed Landry into playing the SF position especially if he developed a three point shot. Landry is way more important than having Kevin Martin. And yeah I was pissed off when we traded him.

It's not like all of the fans agree with Indazone there. I like the Landry trade, as it balanced out the scoring and Lee will be better for this team in the longrun than pouting Trevor Ariza. If we want Landry, the Rockets can get him in the offseason. He has already said he wants to be back in Houston.

I do want him back but he does take minutes away from Scola unless he can learn to play more SF.

Landry would not make a good SF. He's going to be an undersized PF his entire NBA career.

rick adelman fledged martin into a semi-allstar during his tenure with kings, so it's understandable the young skeleton reveres adelman so much and wants to play for his mentor. rick was just trying to transform his team into Houston Kings and his work is about half done. it wasn't anything bad to trade away landry when you have sufficient talents at this position (scola, Hayes etc...) but it was obviously not the best deal we could have got.

    Trevor was your best defender.

Courtney Lee is rubbish. Longterm? If anything they'll just let him expire because he's worthless.

..........yep, this Lee kid has parlayed a missed layup in the Finals into an NBA career. Only in America.

So do you guys think we should draft a new SF (Barnes) or PG (Irving)?

Only question, will they be using New York's pick or their own?

Either way they will have the higher pick than the Knicks
