We are not peaking. The defense is far from there. So the question doesn't apply.
The Spurs are winning in many ways right now. D, 3 pointers, bench, etc..that's a good thing. We're a long way from peaking. Hoping for a win tomorrow, as I'll be there screaming my ass off. GSG!!!!

you really can't start peaking until after all-star break. right now spurs are collecting wins that will be helpful come playoffs when the difference between a 1st and a 8th seed is 7 games.
The definition of Peaking is playing your best at a single period of time. Yes you can peak to start out a season. So the question is are the Spurs Peaking? Again, the only way to know for sure is to look back on the entire season. I can guarantee that this team is going to lose 20+ games, we have lost one. The odds are when we look back on the season we likely might just decide we peaked in November.

The Spurs have to look twice as impressive just to get the benefit of the doubt, sadly.
We have a good record, I am not sure I would call it peaking.
Stupid thread. This team is nowhere near its potential, especially defensively. This run is cause for optimism, not pessimism.
I see a western conference loss to the lakers will be coming up this year. Its better than last year but still not all the way there yet.
Losing games now isn't going to help the team win games later.

No they are not peaking too soon. They are peaking too late. They should have been playing like this in the postseason.

The team needs/needed to see what they are capable of!
They may not be able to sunstain this energy all games long, but after last year, they needed to know if they can be contender again.
They know they can compete offensively, now they have all season to have a better D through 48 min...
+Splitter Neal and Anderson are not yet the players they will (supposely) be comming the PO...
+Tim is paying at 60% max... (offensively)
