tbh Jesus Christ isn't that popular anymore now that more and more families are shunning religion, so the Heat are bigger than him.
Just wait until the Heatles win 2 or 3 rings and LeBron and Bosh will still only be 28-29 years old with a lot more to come.
IF they can win rings and dominate the NBA, they will be as big or bigger than MJ's Bulls. Which is saying something because MJ's Bulls in it's heyday were like rock stars.
oh and Miami sold out all it's tickets in the pre-season. for the entire season.
the "Fan Up" thing was just to get people to be in their seats at tipoff instead of coming late in the 1st quarter or 2nd

Joel Anthony is about to convert a lot of people this season.
He's not as big and strong as Kendrick Perkins, but he is a better shot blocker and he is faster and more agile. He can run up and down the court with a fast paced offense, and he can play D.
Front-line will be fine. The HEAT were one of the top defensive teams last year with Anthony, Magloire and Jermaine O'Neal playing Center.
also, opposing big's will be in foul trouble with LeBron-Wade-Bosh on the attack
Having watched a lot of Heat games Joel Anthony is maybe the worst rotation big in the league. He just got 11 rebounds the other day, which is the most he pulled down in a game since 2008.
Heat fans are still showing up at the beginning of the 2nd and leaving at the end of the 3rd...it's just what they do.
looks like I was right about Chalmers.
however Joel Anthony has regressed big time and looks like garbage this year. he got his contract and now he's chilling I guess.
