yeah lacey didnt do to well, lol
And how many times did Brady in the playoffs either not have a great game, or flat out have a bad game, only for his defense to bail him out? im sure i could pull up a massive list, such his game against Tennessee, game against Indy, both games against san diego. and what happened last year when he had a bad game, but no defense to bail him out? the pats got the kicked out of them by Baltimore. of course your stupid ass will probably take this as a slight against brady as well, but my point is, you need a complete TEAM to win consistently in the playoffs, and to win superbowls. you need not just an offense, but a defense. the one year that the colts had a solid defense, despite poor performances by manning in games against the Chiefs and Ravens, they still won, BECAUSE OF THEIR DEFENSE. obviously thats not just a coincedence. defense is neccesary.
yeah lacey didnt do to well, lol
He might have, he might not have. The catch wasn't a sure thing.
Nice to know you have psychic powers though. What was the guy thinking after the game?
tbh Manning did his job by putting his team in a position to win. That's what you ask from your qb. You don't ask him to be perfect. On the other hand, their special teams ed at the worst of times (running into the kicker and allowing that long run back at the end) and Caldwell ed up by calling that timeout and give the jets a free play resulting in the Braylon's (push off) catch.
Agree with most of that. I do think that Tom Brady actually got much better as an NFL QB. I think starting out on a good team with a good defense helped him a lot. He was still good but there was much less pressure for him to carry the team. I think by the mid 2000s, he got near or at the same level as Peyton in terms of being able to carry the team from the QB position even if the defense was less than dominant (whether they were or not). Brady was good in college, but he's been unbelievable in the pros. I really think if you exchange him and Peyton and he had to start with the Colts in the late 90s, he might not have developed into the QB he has become. It's a credit to him that he's improved himself so much as a pro. When Peyton came into the league, I think he was already really close to being great, he just needed the game time experience. He's improved in his pro career too, but I don't think as drastically as Brady has. You can credit Belichick or you can just chalk it up to a kid that worked his tail off after getting his opportunity. But I'm not completely convinced that if Brady was on the Colts all those years, they'd have the same success. While I think if you plug in Peyton with the Patriots, they'd have very much similar success.
anyways, im going to bed
its pretty obvious that lngrrrr and other morons had a pretty massive orgasm tonight when folk hit that FG to beat the colts because they could come on here and be a bigger dumbass than they already are, basically claiming that manning should have been able to make catches for his receivers, run over defenders for his running backs, and catch interceptions for the defense.
have fun with these chodes, oden
he was thinking he's lucky that great in defensive qb jim leonhard wasn't in the gameor there would've been an even less chance of him making the catch.
Stupid play, but that punter deserves a ing oscar
homeboy did a pirouette and flailed to the ground 2 seconds after he was hit. Manu would've been proud![]()
yeah i definitely could agree with that. i think the early successes that the pats had, really helped brady develop a lot, while peyton came into the league very heavily developed already.
both are just phenomenal QBs though. fun to watch, great leaders, and the golden standards for their position
it's something (flopping that is) that kickers and punters practice because they can use it in 4th and short situations. Same thing as that Reggie Miller flying leg when shooting and trying to draw contact. If you are on special teams, you are taught to never touch the kicker or punter, because they'll flop.
It's pretty obvious that Phillips massive butthurt is preventing him from reading the posts where I said Manning didn't lose the game for his team, and didn't play poorly.
I was thinking that injuries are part of the game, but I guess only the Colts have injuries.
Sucks he didn't catch it. But happens.
If anything, I'd blame it on Caldwell for not dialing up a few bombs for Wayne. I barely heard his name today.
You're the one trying to play up great in defensive QB Leonhard's injury acting like it equals the injuries the Colts were going thru.
You're the one crying![]()
about how the Colts wouldve won if only
![]()
they weren't injured.
Peyton Manning played well in this game, the WRs played well. Sanchez didn't have that great of a game, the secondary played ok (except on the last drive).
The Colts run D was a weakness almost all year long, that's what lost them this game too.
manny played terrible in the first half
one lucky break on coverage in 24 points
not impressed
crofl can't come up with your own shtick
defensive qb leonhard

lol changing the subject
lol the schticks are funny
lol my schtick is regulating whiny Colts fans
lol one and done![]()

i thought there would be more posts of peyton supporters supplicating each others penises
Peyton would be the best sucker in the postseason ever if his teammates s weren't injured![]()

Faded with a Vince Young avatar calling out Peyton Manning?![]()
9-10 record in the playoffs speaks volumes. Yeah, he had excuses for this game but what about all the other years in his career?
And the funny thing about saying they both have had great receivers and average receivers is Brady won all his Super Bowls with average receivers. Moss and Welker never helped Brady win a ring. He won with scraps. Meanwhile, Manning couldn't get the job done with Harrison, Wayne, and Clark.
The problem with Manning is he tries to control the game rather than just winning it. Brady doesn't try to dictate tempo anywhere the degree Manning does. Brady is more of a go out there and play QB. Manning gets caught up in mind games with the defense and trying to force the run when it isn't there.
In the end, Manning is a technician and Brady is a winner. Analysts love to talk about all Peyton does and reading the defenses but his track record has been he falls short.
obviously CBF is a fan of people who enjoy suicide.
since when? you got regulated by phillip of all people.
