You just found out the answer yesterday.
Is Pau even strong enough to post up against physical players? I can't imagine him forcing his way into the paint against any big in the West with a moderate amount of strength. It's just not in his makeup to enforce his will like that from what I've seen.
You just found out the answer yesterday.
He doesnthave to be super physical to be effective some of it is beating the man to the spot and not allow yourself to be rooted out easily. I was a skinny post player ...just need good length strength and some heart. he can do it ...but it's not easy ... but a 3 peat is probably the hardest thing to attain in team sports heck even in individual sports ...winning backtoback is seldom done ...3peats? rare. Pau needs to did deep ...
OR as it's been proven, Bean boy can't get to the playoffs without a legit big down on the block.
Besides...young Pau wasn't going to win when the matchup is against Duncan and the Spurs, Nash and the Suns, and Nowitzki and the Mavs.
Yer preaching to the San Antonio Choir on this Board.
tee, hee.
Well, we know for sure that Gasol couldn't win a single playoff game till he got with Kobe.
And then we know:::
Kobe: 2
Daddy: 1
Constant? Kobe.
True that.
It's supposed to be a symbiotic relationship, but Pau is too stupid to recognize it. He doesn't have the fire in the belly like the Kobe's or the Manu's.
Correction
At least he recognized it thru 15 & 16.
Bean should be more consistent in giving his big guys touches, instead of chucking all season. Maybe then gasol will decide to show up, its nothing that happened this game its all the ac ulted selfishness from bean throughout the season. Everyone gets fed up eventually. Those 0 assists are rather glaring.
Better figure out what kind of male slaves Pau likes and soon, because he's the only guy that can make or break your chances for the 3peat...
Laker bigs need to play defense and rebound before they complain about touches they weren't getting despite being ineffective against the Celtic defense.
You don't beat the Celtics by expecting to score at will on them. You have to match their defensive intensity and grind it out.
They couldn't stop Kobe and they still won because they shredded what became an extremely soft Laker defense in the 4th quarter.
It's a lot easier for the bigs to defend when your perimeter defense isn't leaking like a sieve. Artest did nothing on Pierce while he guarded him, and Fish and Blake are amongst the worst guards in the league, defensively-wise.
On top of that, you roll out Walton instead of playing Bynum...![]()
Bynum starting to look like the 2nd coming of Elden Campbell tbh.
There.
tee, hee.
If getting abused down low by a Big baby, does that make you a bigger baby?![]()
Baby owed him one for our 16th.
Artest was doing ok, Pierce really went off when Phil pulled him and put Luke on him in the 3rd. That was a terrible move by Phil imo.
Ultimately he switched to Kobe on Pierce in the 4th which calmed Paul down but let Rondo run wild and find open shooters.
But the help defense in the post was atrocious. Gasol simply does not know how to anchor a defense, read opposing offensive schemes or properly anticipate how and where to help. That considered, when he gets pushed and punked on the offensive end of the floor he becomes neutralized to the point of uselessness.
Pau knows. The problem is that he's been run to the ground. He also has a severe case of inflamed vagina, where if he doesn't get a touch on offense, he doesn't give a on defense. And don't put everything on Pau.
Bynum got clowned by Big Baby, and Boston was running isos for Rondo against Blake. That's just sad.
lol...Iso's against Blake....I ran Iso's against midget and ran him off...Iso's against Harlemho and he put me on ignore...Iso's against Vulva face and ran him off....Iso's against Mav Krew and ran em off...Iso's against DPG and he ran for mama's s...I'm the ISO King up in the ...lol
Kool Aid Man
*especially the "Midget" one.![]()
HUH? he missed one playoff season his whol ecareer ...yes he did miss one and you can call him out for it, but he made it wice with Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm ...hardly legit bigmen ...
Killa, takin' Man to the woodshed.
So which was a bigger shock to you: finding out santa claus isn't real, or lakaluva isnt real?
Blake not containing Rondo is not a big deal to me... Rondo is an outstanding player. He should not have been defending him in the first place.
Bynum got worked by Big Baby on one play. Whoop dee doo. Even so, it was something that should not have happened. Overall I'd rather have seen Drew and Odom play together over Gasol.
Gasol is the 2nd best player on the team, arguably wit the potential to be the 2nd best player on the floor every game. I blame him the most.
