This is all the media's fault: they gave Rashad a small segment of Bones quote and he took it personal. All Bones meant was that he has to focus on Shogun and reporters kept asking him questions about Rashad.

Shad is known to be a bit of a cry-baby. He got killed in the media for taking all the time off he did waiting for Shogun and then killed for saying he won't fight Jones. So now he is lashing out.. They seriously just need to divide the camp up for that one fight and get it over with if Jones wins on Sat. Jackson just needs to take charge and assign certain coaches to Jones and Shad and stay out of it himself.. Shad and the whole Jackson team make way too much of this whole "We can't fight eachother thing" Shad is acting here like Jones should have said "No" to the le shot
GTFO..
This is all the media's fault: they gave Rashad a small segment of Bones quote and he took it personal. All Bones meant was that he has to focus on Shogun and reporters kept asking him questions about Rashad.
Just like the media asking GSP about Silva non-stop and he just wants to talk about Shields. He is not committing to a fight that may never happen if he loses the one he has in a month. The interesting story to the media is Jones and Shad fighting if Jones wins on Sat. So they are stirring up trouble..
This is funny to me right here because this is what i think Rashad really means..
"We all knew Jones was talented but figured he was to young and inexperienced to be a serious contender for years, i'm 31 and right now he is ing with what was suppsoed to be my time at 205."
Shad used to talk about refusing to fight Jardine, but once Keith fell off he didn't have to worry about that and i am sure figured that he is now the man at Jackson at 205 and will stay the man for a while.. Out of nowhere Jones progresses way faster than anyone imagined and we have a problem.
The media set Rashad off, but I totally understand why he's pissed about everything in his career right now. He hasn't fought, so he hasn't gotten paid for his main occupation. He got hurt, so he missed a great shot at the le against Shogun. The media pushed Jones into saying some that wasn't the kindest, so he got his feelings hurt when he's done nothing but be nice to Jones (even saying he'd move to a different weight class if he won).
But now Rashad looks like the , it sucks, but I think he'll be gone from Jackson's camp if Jones wins. Either way, he gets the next shot and I think he deserves it although he could have taken a decent fight within the last year to stay "warm"/make money and maybe he wouldn't have gotten hurt like he did recently.
Intense stare-down, lol

Plus the hot Brazilian reporter was back
Oh and I'm not sure who else watched the Press Conference today, but the fans that asked questions sucked, that is if they ever got a question out after rambling on trying to get tickets.

Shogun is too cool for that bull , wow. I hope Shogun wins, for the sake of Jackson's camp and PRIDE-hards.
The moment Shogun and Jones walk up and haha Shogun just 'took a look'![]()
The up close and personal piece on Jones was excellent last night

Bad idea if he does.. Shogun won't be intimidated..
I still gotta make my picks for this
I doubt Jones changes his routine of staring down and at the body of his opponent, but we will see soon enough...
Update: everyone made weight
here is a picture of the Bones/Shogun staredown

No stand-offs at the weigh ins.. Jones was fired up
Shogun learn to speak some damn English will you..
according to some video interviews and also at the press conference the other day, they said his interpreter is doing a good job teaching him English, but probably has a while to go.
Faber just looks like such a canoe. I hope he gets his face punched in almost as much as Schaub

Apparently Jones was signing his name as "UFC Champion 2011." That's disrespectful as . I'm glad they booed his ass today, he taken one step forward and two steps back through this whole 6 week process. If he wins tomorrow, he needs to fight Silva or I won't consider him legit.
I'm confident in Shogun, he ain't scared of .
Jones seems to be all about mental preperation, meditation and training your mind to believe the job is gonna get done as long as you have yourself completely convinced of it. Watch the show i just posted to see some of that. I am not taking that talk as he is trying to rip on Shogun anymore than the usual pre-fight trash talk. I just think it's part of his mental training for the fight. At this level you need any edge you can get..
