I'm not watching the game right now but I am sure Kobe is coming up clutch. I know this because the other thread told me he was clutch. I refuse to believe otherwise.

I didn't think that offensive foul on Artest was a good call.
Probably not ...but game has gotten "playoff chippy" so refs have to take control so I understand.

Of course they are. Young teams like the Wolves always end up beating themselves, no matter how close they get at the end. You should know, they've done it against the Spurs a couple times this season.

Thats Lamars spot for 3. If he dribbles there, he's pulling.

He hit a shot a moment ago. Looks okay considering he has no lift. Not playing his best game.

He has but this game he has been clutch because he did some dumb early that help keep it close ... I have to keep it real. Artest and Kobe shot us out of the game early ...

Is Flynn really that bad? 15 minutes? I know Ridnour is a pretty good player, but still.

He has GROWN on me ... but he is good NOT great. chick was GREAT GOAT ...so hard to compare. Some Laker fans prefer our radio guy Spero over Joel ...

After kobe makes a couple clutch plays takes and misses a DUMB shot ....

    Lamar bailed him out ...

Not even a turnover/fastbreak going the Wolves way at the end.

Didn't like that shot at all. He looked dumb shooting it. You could tell he's not 100% with that shot. He just looked like he was trying to get lift in his shot.

Ridnour sucks. He only looks good against us. But Flyn looks like he has lost confidence in his game ...
Ridnour has pretty much choked away 3 games against the spurs and two other home games I have seen ...because he failed to execute their offense late in games. Blake is better and Blake has sucked most of the year ...

The Lakers board doesn't like him. I think he's fine. No matter what he says, Stu (color commentator) disagrees with him though. Not Joel's fault, but something that drives you nuts the more you hear it.

Spero is great. He's going to get a national gig at some point. Love the way he calls a game. More folks will get to hear him if theyre catching the NCAA tourney. He's the PBP guy for one of the regions.

Spero is awesome. He called that college game good today. He didn't have much chemistry with the other guy, though. They kept interrupting each other.

Something I wish people on message boards everywhere knew-- They give you the free tacos vouchers every game* (despite them advertising it as having a catch).

    *Edit: When they win

I'm not happy about that Bynum foul. I'm Ok with hard fouls, just not dirty fouls. Not how we roll.

Everyone loves him ...I havent had the pleasure of hearing him call a Lakers game yet. I'll have to try it.

As for Kobe i know he is hurt we ALL know it. But dont shoot yourself out of it ... take it easy until the ankle heals. If you play you cant use injuries as an excuse. you get props for being a warrior but you dont get EXCUSED for poor shooting and credit for playing through injuries as well ...

Snorin Norm Nixon agrees he should be suspended. Remember when pre and post games used to be fun? Remember Jack Haley?

Given the comments here about Meyers, send him back to us!

BTW, the colour guy often disagrees with Joel because he's a massive homer, whereas Joel actually calls it pretty fairly.

Hah, Stu is about as unbias as it gets. Joel does not get his nuts off of Kobe at times, but he usually does it with whoever is hot in that game, or stretch of games, like Bynum has been.

I think the guys who've posted here have said Joel is good. The Lakers board is huge, so you'll find a huge number of people who complain about everything.

Stu can be a homer, but he gives a fair amount of respect to other guys. He's probably one of the better guys, but he has his moments as you've highlighted. He'll be homerish on Kobe, but he calls out the Lakers guys a fair amount. He's no Sean Ell_iot.
