I toured UNT back when I was deciding. It was nicer than I expected, they got a badass rec center. I got accepted to Tech as well and was very close to attending but decided against it.

And yeah, that rec center at UNT is ing badass. I'm staying in Texas though wherever I go, can't afford out of state tuition imo

I got accepted to Tech, Okstate and OU and chose okstate. No regrets so far its badass, although the state of Oklahoma is still a hole. Its pretty easy to get in state tuition to schools close to Texas, I got it at OSU.

UNT's grown on me. I'm on my last year here. If you don't mind the hippies and the "Little Austin" wanna-be mystique, it's a cool little place. Just far enough outta Dallas and Ft Worth to seem less y, but close enough if you wanna hit up either to bar-hop (downtown Ft. Worth is still my destination a' choice...Flying Saucer and Paddy (Patty?) Reds to finish the night).
