They hold tickets for the other team, too. Those are the ones that Kori was talking about that get released on game day. I got to Game 1 in 2003 that way.

Yeah and a lot of tickets get released that way. I remember in 2003 a bunch of people from the forum got tickets in those afternoon releases.

Why wait to release on game day?? I would think they would release them when they find out who the next opponnet is.

oh God, now I know its not meant to be. I actually got thru on one ticket but when I tried to hit seating chart I accidentally hit search again. *poof* it was gone I couldn't believe it actually came through and caught me off guard. I didn't know what to do. Now I know I'm cursed.

it's money time they hand over mass tickets to the corporations.
Those corporations are the ones that are covering the tab so joe blow like you and me can see Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker for the next six years.

You don't think the Spurs come up with 200 million for those guys off the cheap seats, do you?

There's a lot of tickets on ebay. But I'm not sure if people should trust all those sellers.
I'm never buying tickets from EBAY again after getting jacked during this regular season and I didn't even get a full refund. Why do people have to be such bas s!

That sucks, I've had one lukewarm experience with ebay, but I've always gotten the tickets.

Yeah Kori, it was a few minutes before I posted about it.
Ginofan- I'm scared of doing ebay too. You just can't trust people on there.

IF people do decide to go the Ebay route....

Just make sure that the people you buy from have plenty of feedback, and make sure it's positive.

Yeah, I got sevearl tickets under face through Ebay this year. However, I did buy a pair where the guy selling them to me told me their face value was moer than what it actually was. He told me the correct seat, row, and section numbers, but lied about the face value.

However, I still got those under face.

yeah, you won't get anything for cheap for the finals... thing is the previous series everyone is like, "i'll wait for the finals," so that is where you get the good stuff.

hmm i thought as a season ticket holder you had tickets "reserved for you" and that some poepel just buy season tickets so they can buy extra tickets and scalp them for more money to pay for their playoff tickets
BTW i watch spurs on over the air free tv to poor for cable and don't go to the games either

hey i was wondering a lucture box is probaly only what 10k or so right?
maybe fullsportpress + spurs talk coudl get together and use the ad revune from the website to pull togsdther to get a luxury box, then insted of GTGs everyone could cram into the lux box, for maybe a small fee of say 10 bucks to cover anything not covered with ad revuune? anyone thinks this is good or bad?

Why would I want to go to the game anyway, when I can watch the game with real fans like WOAI's own Peter Burns, Jeff Vexler, and etc.?

I'm pretty sure there is a limit on the number of people in a lux box.
