    Kareem had the better career

The issue was in his prime..

are you re ed brah? that makes the argument even more one sided if we're arguing primes. crofl let me know when Duncan averages 35 ppg and 16.5 rpg in a season

Actually, you are just running from the counter-arguments to your stupid Duncan/Kareem statement.

    But ok.
    what counter-arguments?

do you think that is easier when Magic Johnson is on your team?
That doesn't answer my question about the '71 Bucks.

And no, Magic Johnson wouldn't have been necessary against the 2003 Nets or 2007 Cavaliers.

Also, if Manu Ginobili's minor league career is why Spurfan thinks he's a HOFer, then Kareem being the consensus GOAT of college basketball is relevant to this argument.

Debating stats in different era's is re ed.. Wilt put up 50 a game in an era where he was a man amongst boys.. Kobe does his thing in an era where the defensive rules are completely different than when Jordan played..

If we are talking about the 3 or 4 year window in which Duncan was the best player in the NBA it's a discussion.. 2003 Duncan.. Didn't say Duncan wins or is better.. I think a lot of people seriously forget how great Duncan was back then..

crofl i love how mma says you can't compare eras when he acts like a ing 7'2 center with some of the best posts move ever, wouldn't dominate as much today when the center position is the weakest it's ever been

Your saying Wilt puts up 50 a game in 2011...

Kareem dominates any era but it's a whole new point..

Listen, I know this is a thread to rile up Spurs' fans, but let's be honest: Timmy D can't hold Cap's jockstrap. Cap's game dominated the rough and tumble 70's and 80's - and he would have done the same thing in the 90's and today's game. It's not even close.

I hear ya man. Dream was a MF'n beast in his day. I'm talking quadruple double threat like beastly. He would have looked great in P&G.
