It seems he lost his confidence, when he arrived. He was so bad, the Spurs would have been better without him. And the expectations were high when the Spurs got RJ for 15M/year and Dice for the MLE.

I defended RJ and I feel unclean. I assumed that having that lump of was better than whatever alternatives were available. Turns out, an empty roster spot was more valuable than filling said spot with RJ.
