Perry's not stupid. He's going to sit out a race where the GOP has very slim chances.
All kidding aside though, I think we're forced to admit two sad truths. First, a run at the white house is probably the only way to get Perry out of the governor's mansion. Second, it's not like there's much in the way of compe ion for that GOP nomination.
