If I bet against the Spurs here, someone would say I jumped ship. I understand the concept, but it just goes with the territory. You either back your team or you do not. Betting on the opponent isn't backing your team.

In 11 of the last 12 NBA seasons the Lakers or Spurs have represented the West, winning a combined 9 championships. Once again we are atop the WC standings and likely to represent again.
I think that is truly an amazing stat, and would love nothing more than to beat our favorite WC rivals in the WCF this year. Good luck the first 2 rounds, I'll be pulling for ya'll

So at this point, now that we know the matchups, it boils down to which team advances farthest in the playoffs, SA or OKC. If OKC plays LA then I've already lost. I'd have a hard time rooting for LA over OKC anyway.
I like a lot of the Laker fan posters. Doesn't mean I cannot take the piss out of them at times.
