wasn't trying to poke at ya nono. what I meant by interesting is that your right, as a die hard Laker guy, I hate the celts but there is a level of respect for our old foe. you know b-ball. you know how far this rivalry goes but to see the level of pure, unadulterated hate and fury I see spur fan have against the mavs and it's fan base and then to ride them like that is actually quite...well, hypocritical.

you can't sit there and tell me that if the spurs would have won 5-6 LOB's these last 10 years and 5-10 years in the future they climb back into prominence you wouldn't be using that as leverage?

As far as not liking the Mavs, there's been plenty of battles among the teams, including last season. Plus, the ring smack is always a good one to keep around

Well I was 100% the Spurs were to reach at least the finals, but when they went 0:6 instead of SPAM-ing and after losing game 1 to the Grizzlies, it was obvious there was something wrong.
That being said, I said they had no shot at fourth consecutive finals appearance and that the Lakers go as far as Gasol takes them. When Kobe ratted him out, it was over for the Lakers.

This Lakers team is a disservice to the great Lakers franchise. From reality show Odom, blueprint Barnes, clocking Artest, Be Like Mike Kobe, to pussy Bynum going to injure players. They also couldn't get any more help putting that team together, it was just karma going out like this.
I have nothing but respect for Phil Jackson, and a hard worker like Gasol, who is obviously very tired right now.

LA, if they played their best ball is better. They are either unable to because of age or they choked. Either way, Mavs get the credit for beating the out of LA.
