Bulls haven't gone to his bench yet. Let's see what they're going to get from them today.

Smith is a great defender on the break too. He's blocked more than a few of Rose's layups in transition.
I still criticize him on offense because his handles are still shaky but it's easier to break a PF/C down off the dribble than it is a quick wing guy, and the bigs normally defend him because of his size.....but as you pointed out, dude doesn't take plays off on defense and almost ALWAYS gets back in transition. His decisions in transition on offense are actually better than they are in halfcourt I think.

And I like Deng a lot, but why wasn't he this aggressive in Game 4 down the stretch? Chicago could've used him on offense to give Rose a breather.

Korver and Taj have to be on...Korver especially. They run the most plays for him when he comes off the bench. The Hawks did a great job of jamming him when they tried to run him off screens.

Nice job by Asik of getting back in the picture after Crawford's crossover. Game is still a few circus shots from Atlanta of being back in the balance.

This line up is really limited on offense except Luol, but they really compete on defense.

Asik really does his job well on defense, Thib trusts him. A shame Pop needed to have his back against the wall to do the same with Splitter.

Asik was another guy who was horrible to start the season like Bogans. I called him Will Perdue Jr. Thibs gave him consistent minutes and these days I'd rather have Asik on the floor than Boozer. He doesn't put up any numbers but he's very good defensively.

Korver isn't out there to guard anyone Steve, he's out there to make jumpers.....can't hide on defense in the playoffs, just got to hope you get good help.
