Wouldn't mind Dirk and Kidd getting their ring (pity that Terry and Cuban would have to win one too). They paid their dues and had their share of disappointment. Lots of time for the young 'uns.
As great a player as Dirk is, I will never support the Mavs getting a ring as long as the people he's playing with include Jason Terry, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler etc. etc. etc.
I have no problem with the Heat and honestly don't see why anybody outside of Cleveland would care or hate on him at all. He made the right decision to team up with other star players, which is clear from the fact that they are a hair away from the finals, and regardless of the presumptuous media prognostications. I would have done the same thing if I were LeBron — stuck in a dead end club with no real chance of getting a ring. You can't become a legendary player really unless you work hard to maneuver yourself into the position where you can make it happen.

I don't want Lebron to ring because he teamed up with Wade and Bosh to do it. I don't want the Mavs to ring because Terry is obnoxious enough without one. I am wanting OKC or Chicago to win it. It isn't looking to good for either of them though.
The only scenario that I would enjoy should it be Miami vs. Dallas, would be if the Mavs lose yet again to the Heat in the Finals. That would be hilarious. I am still rooting for OKC and Chicago though.

But even though Mark Cuban might "hate" the Spurs, he still kind of loves them in a Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee way. They're made for each other.

I'll root for Kidd and Dirk because I think they are due and think they are class acts. Lebron will win. I accept that. THe only positive I can see with Miami winning is that it will push the owners to TRY and make it easier for small markets to compete. Sure Miami is under the lux cap but it will soon shoot over.

I don't understand all the lebron hate on this site . . . he did what was best for his career. No one complained when boston traded a bunch of garbage to get KG and Allen. And we are all too familiar the Gasol fantasy trade. Im rooting for the heat. I can't stomach seeing the Wavs win. The only two people on that team that deserve it is Dirk and JKidd.
