Bryant averaged 15.6 points on 37% shooting in the 2000 Finals.

Dude was just lucky to be on Shaquille's team.

Yet to hear Laker fans nowadays, Shaquille coattailed Bryant for those three les.

But look at the numbers, morons. Shaquille averaged 36, 15, and 3+ blocks per game in 2000 - 2002 Finals, and that was on very close to 60% shooting. That kind of domination may never happen again in a three-peat Finals run.

So go right ahead, you blithering idiots, and continue to deify Bryant all you want. The rest of us will know the truth.

Why do I have to research misinformation?

First of all Kobe never scored 9, 11, 12 points in the finals.
    From game 1 onwards:

    2010: 30 21 29 33 38 26 23
    2009: 40 29 31 32 30
    2008: 24 30 36 17 25 22
    2004: 25 33 11 20 24
    2002: 22 24 36 25
    2001: 12 31 32 19 26
    2000: 38 09 DP 47 37 45
You can discuss with Venti who got it wrong.

Kobe had two games under 10 points in the finals. One he left in the second quarter injured so that's not even on the table. He had an 8 point game at age 21 that was sandwiched between 26 and 28 point games. The key difference is he was not passive. He was also only 21 years old at the time. So Kobe at 21 it totally not the same cir stances as a player who is now an 8 year vet and established MVP.
Truth be told, wether he was passive or not wouldn't make a difference since Shaq was delivering the goods anyways. We actually know what happened when Kobe tried to deliver the goods in '04... crofl

Lebron is not a young immature player anymore like he was against the Spurs. An 8 point game at that time would be more understandable. But at this stage? No. You can't be a two time MVP in your prime, be called the best player in the world, and play such a passive game in the NBA finals in a losing effort. That just can't happen. It's not the points as much as how passive he was.
I'm not going to excuse Lebron. That said, I think every player can have bad games, and that includes robin Bryant.

Physically Lebron is superior to everyone. Mentally he's not at the level he needs to be at. Maybe his personality is such that he doesn't have it in him. Lebron himself has admitted he doesn't have that ultra compe ive killer instinct mental approach to the game that that players like Jordan, Magic, Bird and Kobe had/have and we are seeing that right now.
I agree with MJ and Magic having that killer instinct. They also had a superior understanding of the game, where they knew it didn't have to be them chucking up bricks to get it done. I also agree that Lebron seemingly doesn't have it. Now, Kobe has a different killer instinct. The "I'm going to kill my team chances by trying to be a hero" killer instinct, which was in full display in 2004. He's actually the only one in that group that cost a loaded team a 'ship.

    BTW, whose troll are you?

You discuss it with him. You are the one quoting bad info and using it as a basis for your arguments.
