I am not a Mavs fan, but I am glad that Miami didn't win... Plus it means that the LOB is back in TX atleast... You guys need to quit being such sore losers... The Spurs just got a bad break this post season...

Congrats and thanks for derailing the Heat insanity and a well deserved le by the entire team and a great coach. With RC at the helm Mavs could be good for many years

Congrats Dallas, and all the Mavs fans. I truly hate your team, but watching the TEAM play and beat three guys on the other side of the floor was alot of fun t watch. I also thought (i can't believe I am saying this) Mark Cuban showed real class on the podium and in the post game interviews.

Enjoy the parade. Congrats to Dirk, and Kidd!

The Mavs came up big again and again throughout these playoffs. Seemed like a team of destiny this year.

    Congrats!

Now that that's over, let's get prepared for 2011-2012!!

dallas and their new found band wagon fans!
How can you not be happy for Dirk and Kidd ?

Of course a lot of us would have prefered that the mavs franchise, Terry, Cuban doesnt get it also but :
    - 4 is still >>> to 1
    - Terry's ring will be forgotten soon. All that will be remembered is Dirk and Kidd getting their rings
    - They got robbed by the refs in 2006.

But starting now, no more rooting for the mavs !!
To change my mind, it would need at least Nash, Grant Hill, McDyess playing for the mavs against the Heat that would have got Howard and CP3 for the minimum in free agency

Congrats to the Mavs and their fans. The Mavericks earned it (and did us all a favor by stopping the Heat), and deserve to hold the trophy high this year.

Congratulations Mav fans! Enjoy the sweet taste of Supreme Victory! Now you understand how we've felt 4 times!

But seriously, really glad Dirk, JKidd, Chandler and Peja got rings... and I guess, grudgingly, Jet. And here's to The Janitor and The Puerto Rican Dwark for being the key glue guys for that team. As for Brendan Haywood, he should be ashamed of himself.

Good onya, lads. I just wish you had Steve Nash there because he's another guy who really deserves a ring.

Congrats to the Mavs for at least not trying to buy the trophy like the Heat. Dirk has always been a clean player and deserved his championship. I still hate "the jet" and "the matrix". Now all they have to do is win three more championships and they will be at least as good as the Spurs. Ok, enough Mavs talk. Time to move on to trades/draft and other important Spurs issues.

    HUH?!?

You do realize that the Mavs(87 million,3rd in the NBA) outspent the Heat(65 million,20th in the NBA) by about 20 plus million in payroll this year dont you??? Flopzitki makes more $$$ than anyone on the Heat

    Cubehed if nothing,BOUGHT this 'ship

Cubehed even purposely signed guys(see Brewer) he knew he would never play just to keep them from possibly helping the Spurs or other teams.

Nah, F the Mavs and F Dirk Flopzitki

At least now that the finals are over I don't have to see Flopzitki contort himself to another foul line gift from the NBA/refs

The flat out racist Bird/great White Hope BS vs the "Upitty negros" story-line fomented by the "white" press was nauseating enough in itself.

NBA's got that European expansion in mind doncha see...
LOL! Stern's only rider on giving the 'ship to Cuban was "keep his mouth shut"

I saw enough ticky tack fouls called in these finals to stop the Heat from running away w/ games to see the "invisible hand" at work

Just remember the Spurs are a class act,and no one assoc w/ the Mavericks is that sorry, you are judged by the company you keep and anyone assoc w/ terry/Kubhed is tainted by their stench.

Thanks to all of you. It shows that you (well most) truly have the class you often talk about having.

I am not from Texas so I don't feel the intra-Texas rivarly at all. I always feared the Spurs but never really hated them or anything like that. That spot is mostly reserved for the Lakers (due to their fans more than the players) and since 06 for the Heat (I can't stand the entire organization/city/fans).
