"As long as Rasho is the starting center for the Spurs, they will never win a championship"

    My tag line.

Rasho barely made the active list thanks to the trade.

Why don't you just join the Piston wagon? I'll send you a hat.

    Spurs in Four.
I'll take the hat, I will PM you my address.

    I have witnesses...you owe me a hat.

    Another little tidbit.

I preferred the Pistons, because this series will be about the Spurs vs. the Pistons.

Not the Spurs vs. Miami + Shaq + Wade + Stern + Referees + Shaq's legacy + Wade's injury + Kobe + Phil Jackson + South Beach... etc. etc. etc.......

    Get my point?

Yeah now the series is all, What are the Pistons doing wrong and what do they need to do to fix it.

    Instead of about the Spurs.

I doubt the Spurs will sweep, as nice as that would be, it more than likely aint happenin.

ESPN acts like the Pistons were in Game 1 yesterday.

After the show from the pregame show and the reality of being in the Finals again, the Spurs ing destroyed the Pistons.

It was possibly the easiest 3 quarters so far in the playoffs.

Players such as Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Rip Hamilton, Arroyo, Hunter, McDyess, and Prince were reduced to the Eastern Conference Scrubs they are.

The only positive was Billups who I guarantee will be locked up for the rest of the series.

Manu, Parker, Duncan, Nazr imposed their will on them like they were nothing.

After the initial shock, the Spurs outscored, outrebounded and outhustled the Pistons by total basketball domination.

    Just like I said.

    Spurs in Four.
Geez, let's hope Billups doesn't find out you personally "guarantee" he's gonna be locked up for the rest of the series
...unless...are you one of the refs for the next game...?

Hmmm, put your money where your mouth is.

A hat or a T says the Pistons take at least one game.

    What says you?

Ha. Now you are content with winning one game like its a moral victory.

Whose hat do you want? The 2005 NBA Champion Spurs? Send me your address!

Any chance of gettin' a tee or hat from your runner-up 2004 season?

and no, 1 win will not suffice. we plan on takin games 2, 3, 4 (we'll give ya game 5 so the vendors and concessionaires can earn a little extra money) and 6!!

the pistons are not as good as last year
they would not have gotten past the pacers with artest
they would not have gotten past the heat if they were all healthy
and they will not win the le
if spurs score 80 IT IS OVER

Will these excuses ever stop coming? They're in the finals, live with it, and if your team loses, I want to see you back here and i cant wait to hear your next excuse. These injury/artest excuses are getting VERY old.

I totally agree with you on this. I also preferred Detroit because of the whole legacy crap. I was also worried that Big Shot Bob would suddenly try too hard against his ex-Faker buddy.

I am not bold enough to predict a sweep but after the Pistons opened the game 17-4, Spurs outscored them 80 to 52. That is incredible, imo.

The 2-3-2 is a punishment for the team with home court advantage if they do not win the first 2.

i can't believe how much spurs fans in here are discrediting detriots success.
Im just glad that the opinions of the fans dont reflect of the San Antonio Spurs
themselves. Squa is just being a fan, nothing more, so hes doing his job. His opinion
should not affect the outcome of the series so why the are you so damn worried?

If only it would be that easy. I also don't think the Pistons are as good as last years version, but they are not pushovers. One game doesn't mean anything. I'll feel more confident if and when the Spurs win game 2 and hopefully take 2 out of 3 over there and finish it in 5 but my gut feeling is that the Pistons are going to make a fight out of it. I don't want to see a game 7 is all I know and it could happen.
