You're taking some random article at face value, because you want to believe its true. I'm sure if the shortage of workers was that acute, the governemnt would think twice before deporting them. Would some newly imported immigrants take those jobs?Sure. But again that would just begin a new cycle, and soon enough Americans would be complaining about those new immigrants in the same way they're currently complaining about Mexicans.

My point though was that Americans themselves cannot fill that void. The notion that illegals are taking Americans' jobs has been proven to be false with this Georgia experiment. And that's only one state homie, that has already lost $300 mill as a result according to the article...do this nationwide and you can bet the losses would be significant enough to where the government would intervene. That isn't happening though, the government knows this nation benefits alot from illegals' cheap labor. They're not going to kick them out as long as they're useful.
