I'm not a Cowboy fan or a real hater, but there is a noticeable difference in how hard the Cowboys play this year and their preparation compared to recent years.
Jerry released a lot of the dead weight and lit a fire under their ass. This team is better prepared but the secondary is going to f' them... again.
Probably, but as a Cowboy fan you have to be ok with that. I'm sure it's ok losing because you don't have enough talent (o-line, secondary), but it was frustrating watching a team not compete, not tackle & get stupid penalties all game.

Yeah if I were a Cowboys fan that's how I'd feel. You can't be a superbowl contender every year, if they take this season to get younger, clear out cap space, clean house getting rid of all the lazy veterans they had, and figure out what players to build around going forward, it's worth it. What they were doing wasn't working.
I still think Newman is someone they should get rid of but they do need all the help they can get at corner.
I know NYJ have a great defense, but to me Felix does not look explosive today. He looks like he's moving a bit slower than normal and that his acceleration isn't quite there tonight.
