Do you seriously think these nicknames are funny?

lol very interesting. What's this mean for the Big Least? Dissolve? Expand?
The ACC is the only conference that could expand and get worse in football![]()
The saving grace in all of this is that if Texas goes to the ACC, they will be football independent.
I agree. Hopefully Monday is when this all ends, although I doubt it. It looks like OU and Texas are just taking the initial steps that A&M took over a month ago.
The ACC idea is growing on me just based on what it does for the basketball program. Playing the likes of Duke, North Carolina? yeah I'll take it.
The PAC still seems like the best fit for Texas IMO, but of course you run into a problem with the LHN that the ACC might not have.
I am less concerned with how funny they are, and more concerned with their accuracy.
What is meant by calling it tekk?
Tekk is more accurate than Tech. Okay Aggy.
Prolly the same that is meant by passive/aggressively spelling it "aggy."
Aggy. From the outside looking in, you can't understand it. And from the inside looking out, you can't explain it.
SEC.
While the ACC isn't desirable to me, it certainly isn't laughable. Especially if Texas goes independent in football and gets to keep the LHN. They come out of this pretty, pretty, pretty well. What's even more laughable are the rumored dollar signs being thrown around for Texas' 1st and 2nd tier rights.
lol breadth
where exactly have I pretended tech is in the same breadth?
lol at this overly annoyed Aggiehe's like an infant, only annoying if you pay him mind. move along.
There is no possible landing spot where Texas would not be well off. They are too big and important of a program for that to ever happen.
If they go Indy in football and join the ACC for all other sports then good for them. That would be the greatest thing for them (other then keeping the big12 alive), ESPN and the ACC. I have always believed that the LHN was pretty much written with independence in mind. Texas would be able to maximize their profit this way,be in a conference with strong academics, and keep some natural rivalries with A&M/OU or whoever.
If this happens OU, OSU, UT and A&M would all be better off in the long run and it's pretty hard to disagree with that.
Now if UT joins the ACC for ALL sports then that is a totally different story and is laughable, but I dont see that happening.
I've never heard of that before, actually. Are there other schools (I can't imagine Tex is the first) to go conference in one sport and independent in another? Notre Dame's comPLETEly indy, correct?
Notre Dames other sports compete in the Big East.
using "t.u." in such a serious manner shows extreme inferiority complex.
using "tekk" in the same way shows extreme superiority complex.
lol at A&M's leaving the B12 with a losing conference record against Tech.
Huh.
I need to brush up on my NCAA trivia.
Kinda nit-picky, considering the all-time record is in A&M's favor.
Speaking of Notre Dame, there is another rumor that has them moving their other sports to the ACC as well, making the tally 16. So, 14 football teams with two independents. That would be weird.
lol blake
