Gronk has ho's... and hands. And he has the mind of a white-man with the physical gifts of a black man.
I'm not sure how anyone can still argue that Gates is better, as if this isn't 2011. I'm also not sure how anyone who isn't re ed is holding it against him that he plays with Brady. As if the best TE's or WE don't become great by playing with great QB's. It takes an absolute genius to bring a quality take like "Jerry Rice wouldn't have been so good if he didn't have Steve Young." Strong stuff, guy.
Gronk is top 3-4, which is really saying something for a 2nd year TE. I can't really put him over Witten because Witten has the intangibles that are impossible to quantify. Most of those things come with experience. He has this crazy ability to find holes in coverage regardless of the coverage or the route. He's also an incredibly underrated pass blocker and ball carrier. Gronk is more mobile, but Witten is stronger. Take both in their primes and I think it's a wash probably a wash.

at no one bringing up Jake Ballard in the discussion. He is easily one of the most underrated tight ends in football.
