What about McHale fumbling that rebound in 87, leading to Magic's junior sky hook?

I'd say any time Lenny Wilkens had Craig Ehlo guard Michael Jordan one-on-one was probably the dumbest moment on the court for the Cavaliers.

Although it's tough to top John Warren scoring an own-basket against the Blazers back in 1970.

Ehlo shouldnt have been on MJ during the dying seconds of game 5 in 89

Craig was playing on one leg, which makes me think that "the shot" was a tad overrated

    Ehlo could barely jump

It was still an amazing shot...insane body control in mid-air for the sweet J

precisely why MJ doesn't deserve the credit he gets...doing this to the likes of Craig Ehlo was par for the course for MJ...too bad he couldn't do that to the athletic type players of today...he won easy because it was easyPERIOD!

    1. Manu fouling Dirk at the end of game 7.
    2. Strickland's no-look pass in game 7 in Portland.
    3. Rodman leaving Horry open at the end of game 1 of the 95 WCF.
    4. Pop switching Udoka on Bryant after Bowen had been shutting him down, and thus blowing a 20 point lead in game 1 of the 08 WCF.

I'd switch the order of 2 & 3 but this is the definitive list.

I should have also listed Rasheed's double of Ginobili in the corner leaving Robert Horry wide open for the game tying 3 in game 5, but I've hypnotically removed the memory of that play from my mind so I don't even remember it...
Yes sir, I was actually rooting for yall that year. Didnt really hate Spurs but RIP, SHEED and Chauncey were fun to watch.I could not freaking believe after ALL of the shots Horry had hit already...in key playoff games, it made no sense to over react to Manu's drive.

    Game 2, 1984 finals
    Game 4, 2008 finals

All the rest of the disappointments have a logical explanation, these two are probably the most dumbfounding losses in the Lakers' history.

Eh, a bad grab on a rebound isn't a "dumb" moment for me, but I don't remember exactly how that play went down. I'll find the youtube and rewatch.

Most sensational things are overrated, and they become much more sensational as time passes.

Kool's such a in' dumbass. A 39 year old Jordan on a Wizards team put up 20, 6, and 4 on .445 shooting against the "athletic players of today."

Is there any actual tape of that? I thought Sternsy confiscated it all at menorah point.

I was listening to the game on the radio after getting out of work when Manu's foul occurred. I beat up my steering wheel so hard, I'm surprised I didn't set off the airbag, and then I just sat and stared blankly out the window for probably a good 5 minutes. I just couldn't believe it.

If there is one Spurs play that will haunt me for the rest of my days, it will be that one. 0.4 was a heartbreaker, but Manu's foul was 100% avoidable.
