In this particular case, I put my Walter Mitty on in the belief that Bryant had given up his addiction to the slap & tickle lifestyle. It was commendable. I figured if he was going to fall off the wagon it woulda happened early on after the Eagle rape. It turns out that never happened. He's been bumpin' & grindin' ever since Eagle. No. The catastrophe for Kobe would to continue to stay married to Vanessa and for her to continue to forbid him his onions. She would not condone or grant him permission to live both lives. He couldn't quit that life. The catastrophe would be for Kobe to stay in that marriage. He would be devastated without his "special" onions. He'd be empty.
