Just a tad better than Bonner who had a good night himself with +7.
What game were people watching I thought he did pretty good playing backup on a brand new team. He played a of a lot better then freakin Bonner..........

I'm a bit torn.. I feel like TJ needs to provide an offensive spark off the bench because his defense isn't going to stand out. With Tiago and KL looking bad on offense but being MUST play players because of their superb D, we need some help scoring the ball. JA will help, the big 3 will be the big 3, and the small glimpse of DB's offense looked good, but we need something from TJ. Whether that means him returning to his aggressive drives or making good decisions on passing.. were going to need him. Lets hope he provides a positive result on the offensive end with the season going forward.
Ford played good when Tony was bad in the first quarter. After that TJ didn't look so great. I honestly think it is harder for a vet to come in and pick up the system than it is for a rookie in some ways. A vet has to unlearn much of their game. Remember Fin and Brent?
All TJ has to do is distribute and play decent defense, he doesn't have to score much.
I believe he will end up doing fine. His quickness is still there, so the rest will come.
This team has a large amount of potential that can be filled by the evolution of Tiago, JA and Leonard.
I am a TJ Ford fan and was stoked when he was signed....however, last night he was putrid. He looked like an old broken down racehorse that needs to be sent to the glue factory. I know it was only one game, so I will give him about 2 weeks before I decide how I truly feel about him as a Spur. Right now, I have a thumbs down after one game, but that could easily change if he comes back to play a strong game tomorrow night.
maybe compe ion between him a joseph is whats needed...luv that we have some options at the point now, but from what I've seen so far i really think joseph has got the edge. i know this isn't much of a comparison but the limited minutes I've seen so far with the way he handles the ball kinda reminds me a lot of parker.
i dont recall anyone telling me anything....at any rate, it is disheartening to see how far his play has fallen off.
Seikaly being the exception, but I am not sure if he is an actual Greek or an American of Greek descent.
Seikaly was born in Beirut, Lebanon
He was unable to attain Greek citizenship due to bureaucratic problems, but he later became a naturalized American citizen

The last decent Greek athlete was Achilles ... and even he ended up being a China Doll.
Lebanese tbh.
Went to an American school in Greece and never became a Greek citizen.
Ever.
I actually didn't think Ford played terribly last night..
The reason I made this thread is to comment on his style of play..it doesn't translate to winning basketball..I don't understand the comments, in regards to his experience with the team and adjusting..Ford has played the same style on every team he has played for..
He doesn't play D, he can't shoot, be overdribbles..
I know there are a lot of Ford homers here, due to his college affiliation, but it's evident that his style of play won't translate to winning IMO..
We don't know that yet. TJ Ford has played on loser teams for his entire career. By definition saying he plays loser ball doesn't make sense cuz even with Chris Paul the teams he's played on would be losers.
Alllll weeee are saaaaaying....is give him a chance.
Yep. Give TJ a chance. Also Joseph.
