Why would any team want Pau?..he's over 30 years old, and he no longer gives a on a consistent basis..

There are only a few teams that are potentially a Pau Gasol away from being a legit contender, but I'm not sure if any of them would make the move..
Pau still has game. Not saying we gonna get Dwill for him, but he is not the only PG that would be an upgrade for us ...have you seen our backcourt?

This team pisses me off with the "way" they lose ...but then I remember we have no starting PG, backup SG or starting SF (at least contender caliber ones) and I realize this is what we are a barely above .500 team.

Pau no longer gives a on a consistent basis 'cause he knows the Lakers are no longer contenders and he's fed up with Kobe. On a good team with no ballhogs I think he would regain his "givea ness".

Not quite there ...but close. I think we have to go all in on Howard I didnt want to give up both Pau and Bynum but if you can especially in a 3 team that is better than watching this bull- .

I agree that he's still an all-star caliber big, but why would a team trade a young asset for him?..

There are only a few teams that could be a Pau Gasol away from being a contender..maybe Philly, maybe Indiana, maybe Denver..there aren't too many teams that are fringe contenders that need a big..

Assuming Howard wants to join, I don't really believe Kobe insulted Howard like that but who knows. Deadline coming up, Magic would be stupid s to just let him walk

That's bull- . You don't get any passes for giving a . If he wants the ball whine to the press "diplomatically" like he normally does once or twice a season ...I think that trade and last year's finger punking by PJ has messed up his psyche.

Are you ready to get on your knees and start begging?

I thought Howard denied Los Angeles of his "talent."

    Gasol is an excellent big.

Problem is he needs someone to give him the ball. Not just Kobe, ofc, but also needs the Lakers to have a decent PG, one that can move the team around, and also have the leadership skills to tell Kobe and Brown "Dude, give me the ing ball, I'll do some team plays".

that is some rumor bull- . But if he does oh well. Just let us know so we can make an alternate deal ... I want him but dont think he is a magic elixir or the only way to get back in contention.

I though he already told the Lakers FO that if they traded for him, he won't sign with them.

They're not true championship contenders but they could pretty well be a western conference contender if Kobe Bryant wasn't such an unconscious TOSB.

Rockets probably would want Bynum, have attractive pieces to offer.

Lakers are not as good as: LAC, OKC, POR, SAS, DEN.

We can beat all those teams so I doubt we get 2nd round swept this year ...but no way we get past 2nd round especially without HCA ...we can't win on the road. That is a non Western contender in my book ...but whatever. Glad you guys have more faith in my team than I do ... but I doubt I am wrong, here.

No way. Most fundamentally sound center in the league and in 2 years time, he will be the best center in the league. Mark my words.

Gasol is the piece you guys need to move. Bynum should be untouchable.

I think you have the priorities wrong.

A GOOD PG and a DECENT big is what the Lakers should be aiming.
Not just a good PG, though. Someone that truly plays PG, and dares to stand up to Kobe is what the Lakers should be trying to get.

Agreed. I like Gasol, but if you have to pick between them, trade him and not Bynum.

    Just for the age factor.

I like you as a poster, you are pretty fair. The praise is well deserved

I agree. Just saying we dont need a top 5 guy. Lowry would be fine. Jrue Holiday. Parker. Just someone who doesnt have to confront Kobe, but who is just confident enough to take control of the offense and not be so Kobe dependent to make plays ...

I think Lowry would be nice in Lakers.

I think he has the presense of mind to actually try something different that dropping the ball in Kobe's hands (which a few times is ok to do, but not every single time in the 4Q). Mind you, I still think a big problem of the Lakers is their big payroll, and the lack of set plays from Brown.
