"Manu Ginobili 'likely' for Saturday's game in New Jersey"

Manu led the team to 61 wins last season. This season he had a PER of 35. He was shooting 59/52/94. He's the best player on the team. I don't see how he could mess it up.

he will not mess it up dude. He's used to come back after injuries and knows that it takes a few games to get his rythm back

Let's just hope the Spurs will keep on winning games so Parker fans will have no argument to bash Manu!

NEW YORK — Manu Ginobili is good to go.

That was the pronouncement coach Gregg Popovich made after a spirited, hour-long practice in midtown Manhattan this morning. The Spurs’ star guard will make his return from a broken left hand Saturday night in New Jersey.

How did Popovich know it was time?

“When Manu’s ready, you bring him back,” Popovich said. “He’s Manu. When he’s ready to go, you don’t care if you’re winning, losing. It doesn’t matter, he’s coming back.”...(more)

I'm not sure if I'm ready for Manu to play point guard and handling the ball right away just to give TP some rest. Watch him become very turnover prone just trying to use that surgically repaired dominate hand again.
