+5 after Manu, Tiago, and Kawhi (and later Neal) came into the game for RJ, Green and Blair. Defense has been wonderful, everything in the post is highly contested and everything else is contested jumpers.

Is Kawhi the most athletic player the Spurs have had since Parker was drafted?

Who cares. I'll take it. Almost 10 minutes in and no Bonner sighting. It's great. (although I've preferred Bonner of Blair lately)

I get the feeling that Leonard isn't overly athletic, but his length makes him seem that way.

He is only 20, and i'm sure he'll build up a lot more speed & strength in the coming years

Great 1st after such a slow start. You can really see the energy level that Splitter and Leonard bring compared to Blair and Jefferson.

Is this not a great time to be a Spurs fan? Even when they were winning all those games last year, I don't remember being this excited with this team in the last few years.

Leonard's ability to come off the bench and go 0 to 60 right away is pretty damn impressive for a 20-year-old.

He's getting blood transfusions from le Bowen.
