    from what i can see with firebug, the site uses the yahoo user interface - i have read some people recommending to switch to the google UI; for some, the switch saved them from some hacker problems

    Alright, problem solved.

    Explanation: Some kid from the UK figured out a vBulletin exploit via the arcade. So he's going around to each vBulletin with an arcade and redirecting their forums to that gaming website. Bloody good execution by the young chap, but pretty dumb idea.

    Anyways, thanks to Muki for waking up when I called him at 5:00 AM his time to help out. He solved it and patched it. The arcade will remain down until the vulnerability is completely solved, though.




    P.S.

    I found the UK kid's info including his telephone number. Tempted to post it, tbh.

    Yeah, I read that too. I don't think it's related to this exploit but I went ahead and switched it to Google anyways.
