Ron Paul Just Won A Caucus But The Media Is Telling You Mitt Romney Did

Ron Paul won the GOP caucus in the Virgin Islands, or at least he won the most votes according to the Virgin Islands Republican Party.

Right now the count stands this way:

Romney's Fuzzy Math for a Fuzzy Campaign By Christopher Ruddy

The Romney team argues that their candidate needs 48 percent of the remaining delegates to win the nomination, while their leading contender Rick Santorum would need 65 percent and Newt Gingrich 70 percent. Sure, it's unlikely that Santorum or Gingrich can pull that off. But it's just as unlikely for Romney to get 48 percent of the remaining delegates. This means that Romney will fall short of the 1,144 delegates to win on the first ballot in Tampa and it will be brokered.

The Ron Paul Winning Strategy: Washington State Precinct 304 Example

I contend that it is far more likely that Ron Paul has almost as many real delegates as Romney nationally, if not more, and if the media ever reported it, this whole fabricated concern of electability becomes an obvious and obnoxious deception and the establishment could be severely squashed this time around. Similar to a Ronald Reagan trounce but far more drastic.

FACT: Bound delegates in Tampa who prefer Ron Paul but are bound to another candidate can ABSTAIN on the first votes until they officially become unbound, in a brokered convention scenario. This is huge because it will cost Romney anywhere from 100 to 400 votes which means the probability he wins on the first vote much lower.

Quote from the DailyPaul per joeinmo:

"Now its true you CANNOT vote for Ron Paul until the second vote at a National Convention if your state legally has the ability to bind you, but you can ABSTAIN. Yes thats right, your vote will not count for Mittens, Frothy, or the Newt."

200 years of the electoral college and 50 years of primaries and Paul was the first one to attempt to do this?

its the super secret delegate defections.

You guys are fools but by all means get your news from the Ron Paul forums and keep the tin hats on tight.

My bet is that RP won't even be able to speak at RNC, never mind win the nomination, or broker anything but his old, fantasy-loving ass, that nobody wants (except as a pre-RNC protest vote).

I'd love to see Ron Paul pull off the miracle just to piss off the haters especially the Fox News and MSNBC types. They cannot stand Ron Paul.
