Make the finals but not a championship. The defense isn't good enough.

Spurs getting some much needed front court help, hopefully he gets into shape and doesn't suck!
fuk yo opinion clown
Major props to the Spurs for bolstering the roster. They certainly surprised us with Jackson and Mills and lucked out with Diaw.
Still not favorites, but this team is much better and more complete than it was 10 days ago. Great job by the FO (and Tony).
Blair: Welcome to the Spurs Boris, have you heard of Whataburger?
I think once he learns our system he will be a GREAT fit offensively. Top notch passer for his position, great feel for the game, unselfish (sometimes to a fault) and able to stretch the floor somewhat from the 4 spot.
Not sure how much if at all he can help us defensively though...
Great pick up nonethelessThe final third of the regular season really is shaping up to be some exciting stuff. Can't wait to see how our three recent pick ups gel with the rest of the squad.
Why do you think this is? It's about time.
It took a few years, but Tony finally gets his own Frenchy as a teammate. After all, Manu has already had his. It's high time that TP has gotten his.
I'm trying to decide how to celebrate this signing. Either with a Whataburger Thick-N-Hearty Burger or with a French pastry?
Seriously though, I'm glad that the Spurs have the semi-warm body of Diaw, but his passiveness and chronic laziness still scare me nonetheless.
A couple of questions for those more familiar with Diaw:
What are the realistic expectations for Diaw for the remainder?
Does anyone think TP can motivate this guy and keep in line?
Does anyone think this will be more than a 1/2 season rental?
. I hope he's not fat and can get some minutes tonight since the front court is slim pickins. He's a smart player so his only problem is motivation and coming to the Spurs should be just the right thing he needs.
Jax, Patty Mills and Diaw and this place goes crazy.
No doubt, good job on the signings. About time they did something productive. Now Pop needs to become Pop from the old days and get these guys defensive minded.
It's really mostly Jax, the other two are moreworthy.
I doubt he plays tonight(physical and paperwork, and needs to learn what is going on with the plays a bit) may be on the bench, and can see him play tomorrow or no later then Sunday.
He's coming at the right time, as the Spurs have a murderous schedule for the remainder of the season - as does every other team. The extra depth can really help.
lets see JAX (no more RJ), Patty (depth at PG spot), and Diaw (can take Blairs spots in starting line up or at very least limit both Blair and Bonners minutes). What is there not to like about those moves.
No..YOU and everyone is..RJ for Jax was basically a lateral move (both avg 10) , Mills will NEVER see the floor in the "playoffs" (TP,Manu,Neal), and Diaw is not the player he was in PHX years ago.. even if he was that's not what this team needed. ANOTHER shooting big man?? GTFOH..we're the same team as last year, regular season KINGS
All for Richard Jefferson seeing as he was the only real subtraction on the team. Jesus, people will at anything.
"Gawd you would think the spurs are making forward moves, but your just a casual fan, spurs really need a big to compete with other opposing teams bigs, because thats the only way you can match up with size, size. "
