IMO the Grizzlies will eventually have to get rid of Hollins + see Mayo and Gay grow up to become a contender, but they have the talent or close to it. Hollins gets tons of credit for making Memphis a good (borderline great) defensive team when the 2010 Grizzlies were a below average defensive team with him as coach, then the next season they got better defensively as Tony Allen started to get more minutes. Them becoming a defense first team was Allen more than it was Hollins. Even if their defense improves Conley and Mayo need to become much better and efficient offensively.
