Wow, the sheer incoherence and hatred that comes out of this chicks mouth is astounding. How anyone can take anything she says seriously is befuddling.

Does this drivel make sense to anyone besides TJerkoff? I don't get it.
    No.

Like i said, i dont care if Tiago starts but there is no way that Blair should be starting.

I hope this was a real eye opener for Pop tonight.
It could be Pop was making sure Diaw was ready for an increased role, like replacing Blair in the starting lineup.

You stupid ...this is what the so-called pop haters were asking for...Tiago & Timmy together....

look at the results you dumb ....

Pop is finally seeing what we already knew....

instead of the spurs falling behind by 15 early and having to climb out of a hole....the spurs can compete from the start...

Now Pop isn't as much of an idiot anymore....

    you are welcome.
Pretty cranky. Did you run out of bon bons, or something?

For the record, and before timvp releases his grades, I thought Splitter was above average tonight, given the position he was put in. First start of the season with Tim, against a team that absolutely destroyed us a few days ago in our own building... he didn't have the greatest first stint, but when Pop put him back in there after a quick breather, he was a mad dog, hustling for everything, making a difference, and basically being a junkyard bulldog. I don't really care about his FT misses, his D was pretty good and he logged solid minutes.

Splitter did good considering the sudden change. I'm for Splitter starting, but I'll settle for Diaw if Pop can keep up the job he did tonight. This is all I have been asking is for Pop to be aggressive defensively and to use the right lineups, which he hasn't for some time now until tonight. It's great progress, let's hope it continues.

What I especially like was the hustle of all players for lose balls. Tim Duncan was getting slapped in the 1st quarter, and I guess that motivated him bc after that he came out hustling, deflecting and just beasting. I know Tim can do that, I think sometimes he doesn't give enough effort like that against these bigs.

    Tonight gives some great hope.

Starting Splitter was a really odd decision, and quite frankly, a risky one. They haven't had much playing time together and the statistics show that they struggle when paired up together. So why risk such an unpolished frontcourt in one of the most important games of the season? No surprise to see that it failed to work out in the first 6 minutes.

How do they get better if they never play together?

That's why I thought it was risky for this particular game. The two have barely played together this season, why try it as the starting lineup? Don't get me wrong though, the risk is small when it comes to the big picture.

Splitter ran Bynum off the floor in the 1st quarter. Yes, Bynum had a pretty good 1st quarter, but Bynum was gassed for the rest of the game. Bynum had 13 pts and 3rbs in the 1st quarter. Had 8 points and 4rbs the remaining 3 quarters of play (20 minutes of play).

I think Pop told Splitter not stop running up the floor full speed and setting picks every time down and make Bynum work on the defensive end, which he had to. After the 1st quarter, Bynum was a non factor guarding the paint area pretty much because he was spent. Splitter looked tired after the 1st quarter as well but he did his job.

Smart move by Pop to use Splitter athleticism to counter Bynum's physical play. It worked to perfection last night so much that even Diaw was able to contain Bynum the rest of the game.
I'm hoping Pop saw this, because Splitter didn't start the 2nd half. Diaw did great, but I'd really like Splitter starting. He just needs more time with Duncan.

Didn't Splitter have 3 fouls? Anyway it looks like Pop's preemptively moving Blair out of the rotation before the playoffs. I think everyone agrees he does not deserve to be the starter except to soak minutes and there just is no room for him off the bench.

Those were some bs fouls considering Bynum was just allowed to throw his arm into people.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I saw no indication that Tiago is any better against the Laker front line than Blair is. Bynum all over him , and he didn't slow Gasol at all either. The W had little to do with this and everything to do with Parker ting on their entire back court.
    Huh?

Damn the pop haters are pissed now....
Actually the "pop haters" are completely vindicated now. When it comes right down to it and Pop needs a win most, he does exactly what they've been suggesting all along.
