Here's why Kobe won't play. Mike Brown has an operative/snitch in the Loyal to the Crown organization trying to keep the Kings in Sacramento. Their plan was to manipulate the scoring race to make Kobe want to play the last game and try to score 50. This possibly being the last game in Sacramento, Loyal to the Crown infiltrated the ballboy crew and had plans to take a tire iron to each of Kobe's knees during a timeout in the 4th quarter. However, Mike Brown played them and is holding out Kobe, plus all 2 of the other important players on that team. CIA Brown learned from Pop, but Pop wouldn't have announced this until game time.
