Highest praise Pop ever gives anyone "what he does wins basketball games". You know that, to Pop, that's everything under the Sun.

Never expected Leonard to be as effective a shooter as he's become.

Kawhi must be related to Pop in some way. Perhaps Pop drank a little too much wine one night...

"Congrats to whoever won that individual award. I'm thrilled for you."
Well done TIMVP this induced an actual lol

my lord I love Kawhi, I have from the start of the season and my love has steadily grown. His potential truly is scary and his game is already almost entirely pluses. No shot at the beginning of the year? Well watching him knock down those threes tonight and as of late has only reminded me how much this guy is willing to work on his game and be the best player he can be. Can't argue with the 4th place finish, I would have had him third or fourth myself, but when its all said and done Kawhi could honestly be the best guy out of this rookie class, including Irving and Rubio.

dude was impressive in game 1 against the floppers...

7pts and 3steals in the first quarter pushing a lead, then pop puts the breaks on him for the 2nd quarter with no court time

comes in the 2nd half, assignment defend cp3 and bledsoe

Kawhi as a player remind me Andre Iguodala, less explosive version, is anyone also see that comparison?

Watching him play in person, I've confirmed that Kawhi is in fact not playing against the opposition on the court. He's playing against himself, and could care less about anything else going on around him. The only time I've seen him get a little rattled and not adjust was during the first Lakers game this season.

Kawhi lives, plays, and breathes basketball in his own head. He's not a robot, more like that little kid who was good at chess and went crazy and moved to Russia after getting ged up with the ty compe ion in America. KAWHI PLEASE DON'T MOVE TO RUSSIA!!!

"Leave it the Spurs to find the only player in NBA history to show less emotion than Tim Duncan. Hit a three-pointer, made an impressive pass off a spin move to Blair, and was an all around fourth quarter terror without so much as a blink. Maybe Tim can teach him how to make his eyes bigger."
    That is absolutely priceless.
I must say the Spurs level of toughness and grit has improved significantly compared to last year. First, Kawhi, in addition Green has some similar qualities. Hard nosed not overly full of himself.
I remember at the end of last year the Spurs where defeated by the grizz, we where looking at a future wing combo of Manu, RJ, Neal and Hill. Who would have thought in one years time the Spurs would be deeper in the playoffs with a wing combo of Leonard, Manu, Green and Jack. , before the season started I was more interested in D'sean Butler than Green.
And to think the Spurs flipped RJ for Jack (and saved 10+ mil) all for a 29 pick.

Pop's dream. A 20 year old long 3 with the soul of a Jerome Kersey or Mario Elie.
Very true. Perfect Spur at the right time. I would say the organization is blessed, but really they just do their homework and work their butts off.

    His growth has been incredible.

I'm actually surprised when he misses a baseline 3 nowadays.

Yep Props to Kawhi. Perfect fit to a perfect team. He seems to be in the mould of the one and only Tim Duncan. A stone Cold killer bent on team success and not personal accolades.

You watch LeBron play, constantly checking his stat line to see what he can stat pad to look awesome on the box score at games end. You watch McGee celebrate and showpony a triple double with his team down 50 points, jackasses. No Spur would ever act like that.

4th in Rookie of year, only rookie starter left in the playoffs, contributing big time in a rookie year for the spurs, man i can only think of 4 spurs who have done so well in their first season ( David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Freakin Ginobili) That's some damn good company right there. Leonard should be very proud of himself. But....

The job aint over. 11 more wins, one at a time, and then Kawhi and Tim can stop being stone cold robotic deadly asassins, prove they are human and smile away flashing the Larry O'Brien trophy to the world.

LOL, sounds like a DirectTv commercial:

You live, eat and breathe basketball in your head. When you live, eat and breathe basketball in your head, you become like a robot. When you become like a robot, you become a chess genius. When you become a chess genius, you move to Russia. Don't move to Russia, get DirectTv.

I got this, tmtcsc. It's Rachel McAdams, from one of her most recent movies where she works for a morning news show.

Now that I've answered this twice, I hope someone besides mVp reveals to me the beauty in his sig.
