Other - I don't dislike any particular race. Skin color means nothing to me.

Instead, I tend to look down on poor and middle class people of all races who live in 1st world nations like the U.S. or various European nations (I don't look down on impoverished areas of Africa, for example).

So to start, I think some of you may be looking at my classifications and wondering "Is this guy on crack? He thinks someone making $150,000/year is just lower middle class?" Yeah, you heard correctly. This is part of the problem with the U.S. (especially), in my opinion. People who make meager incomes tend to think they're wealthier than they actually are. It's a major reason why the average person has a pitiful liquid net worth. Nobody saves anymore. People live far beyond their means, and then they and moan about how the 1% doesn't pay their "fair share" of taxes. It's disgusting. You middle class plebes can go yourselves as you wallow in your poverty.

I think the vast majority of jobs available to the lower middle class/lower class are mindless, intellectually devoid jobs that require very little creativity or effort. I'm talking about your average engineer, your average "middle management" business person. Business/finance/accounting - if you're in one of these professions and you're so worthless that you don't make $250k/year+, you're pretty much worthless in my opinion. I'm pretty much talking about your standard low tier "white collar" jobs and blue collar jobs (high school teacher, secretary, low tier business people in finance, accounting, MIS, low tier healthcare professionals (pretty much anyone who doesn't have an M.D.).

With my income breakdowns of class, the top 1% resides somewhere in the "upper middle class" realm, and the top 10% resides somewhere in the "middle" middle class realm, so that pretty much leaves 90% of the U.S. that I legitimately look down upon.

I'm not willing to give you a pass if you came from a lower income family, but I am willing to give you a pass if you've experienced egregious life events. Obviously if you're born with Down syndrome or something then I won't look down on you. That's something beyond your control.

So here are some exceptions to the general income rules above. If you have a Ph.D in physics from Caltech, say, or a reasonably intellectually demanding field from a good school and you only make $80,000/year (which is typical), I have great respect for you, so my bigotry is not just income-based.

If you have just a B.S. in engineering from state university and you work your average "engineering" job, sorry, you don't get a pass. The difficulty of the curriculum matters, and in general there probably isn't a single person with a bachelor's degree (or lower) that I respect. A bachelor's in this day and age is the new high school diploma, anyway (but of course, you're still exempt if you've experienced major hardships in your life as I mentioned earlier).

Getting a degree in anything other than business/finance, science, engineering, or medical field related is a waste of time. Too many people in general feel like their degree in Political Science or Public Relations is important when it's not.

Public relations is a terrific example. I mean, just think about what a PR person does on a day to day basis and ask yourself - is that really a profound and impactful way to spend one's life? Is that person really adding value to our society? Probably not.

PR is all about trying to deceive the public into harboring a favorable impression of a business en y/person/etc. It really adds little to no value to society.

One more caveat about businesspeople.

Obviously if you're a college kid or just fresh out of college and you're making $50k/year or something, I'm not going to hold it against you. It'd be unrealistic and stupid to expect someone to make hundreds of thousands of dollars right out of college, so in a sense the jury is still out on whether I consider your life "worthless."

If you're still piddling along in some worthless middle management retail job when you're 50, then yeah, you're worthless.

But I don't really have an opinion on 20s-30s age people who are still working their way up the ladder.

So is the level of a person's intelligence. The people who occupy the highest paying jobs and/or own businesses that would profit 250K+ year are typically of superior intelligence, 115+ IQ range I would estimate. Following your logic of "not looking down on people who don't succeed to the level I deem worthy because of limitations beyond their control" you can't really denigrate a person with an average IQ for humping a career that pays them 50-60K a year.

Unless you believe in feel good pla udes like "1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration" and "You can anything if you just put your to mind to it!" If that's the case, carry on. Sure you'd be deluded for believing bull like that, but at least you'd be logically consistent.

What annoy me most are thugs and the en lement/welfare mentality. I think those are most prevalent in blacks, so I checked that box. It is important to note that those are just a subset of a larger group, and all races share those undesirable traits to a degree. Well educated blacks I can identify much better with, those who may be accused by other blacks as "acting white."

I dislike African-Americans. And I don't mean Africans, because I have a great deal of respect for many people I've met from Africa, particularly immigrants, who were highly honorable people. I mean African-Americans.


In my personal experience - note, mine, not others', so I'm not generalizing - I've found many African-Americans to be highly disrespectful, grating, quarrelsome, lazy, and prone to loud complaining whenever something doesn't go their way.


Look at crime statistics - if I'm not mistaken, African-Americans commit violent crime at a significantly higher rate than other races. Educational attainment? African-Americans, if I recall correctly, get lower grades or have less educational attainment than most other races in America.


Martin Luther King, Jr. said he wanted a world in which his children would be judged by the content of their character, not their skin. I know that very few African-Americans are related to King, of course, but many African-Americans want to play the race card and benefit from their minority status from their skin color, rather than get ahead on the merits of their character. So, let's see: Committing lots of crime, getting very low grades and academic attainment, but also wanting to play the victim by using the race card and affirmative action?
