Would it be nice to have Games 1 and 2 of a potential Finals series watched by 35,000-40,000 people instead of 19,000? Sure, that would be a lot of fun. But the Alamodome? No, thanks. Poor sight lines for basketball games, cavernous design, horrendous parking/awkward location, contract issues (The AT&T Center doesn't have the "at&t" logo plastered everywhere just for the of it), season ticket holder issues, luxury box discrepancies, etc. I wish the Spurs played in and regularly sold out a 35,000 seat arena, but moving to the Alamodome again to try and recreate 1999 is not a good idea.
