Simmer down. It's just a rumor.
well since everyone here but me, nkdlunch and guru of nothing thinks tim should miss the game if his wifes in labor
we're ed
Simmer down. It's just a rumor.
I hate to say it but the priority would have to be with playing the game. He is paid way too much money and the Spurs owners would have his head.
He would be traded to Toronto tomorrow if he didnt play tonight.
it really sucks if Tim has to miss the birth of his first kid. THAT's irreplaceable.
What a ing distraction on the worst possible day.
Awww, , he was just going to stand around outside the room with a big cigar anyway....![]()
Pistons, there has already been a big acrimonious discussion of this, and to summarize, there are a whole lot of folks here who disagree with you, and the organization would likely disagree with you, as well. Not to start a new discussion, and hopefully things remain irrelevant.
It is probably the best thing that could happen for Tim's game, if true.
Something to keep him from fretting about the game before it starts.
I think they would've induced yesterday if it was really an issue.
I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it or if it wasn't true ! Thanks Selina
He can watch the video...screw it...this is the Finals Game 7 man...suck it up....
When my kid was born, I was in the Persian Gulf behind enemy lines interogating captured soldiers Marathon Man style.

Shawn Kemp missed a bunch of births.
jimcs50 too
its amazing what a game 7 can do to peoples "understanding" of family
do it tim
yeah it makes them stupid like you.
They said on the radio that Tom James said it was not true
Everyone can simmer down. It's just a rumor.
Has Kori been able to confirm?? Not to diss Grande or anything...
And while I didn't get into the previous thread about should he or shouldn't he..I would want my hubby to play the game. Not sure how well he would play with all that going on behind the scenes but you never know.
*mrcoon looks up & breathes a sigh of relief*
good i wont have to bust out with sean hannity cracks
I bet my house that if Amy where in labor, she'd tell him to play in Game 7.
Y'all are freaking out about a rumor!
my husband would die if he missed this birth, he was there holding my legs back last year for our 1st and he said it was the coolest thign he's ever seen. (i thought he's in weird)
So it would for sure be super super sad for Tim to miss out on the birth of his 1st.
BUT - If Tim Duncan were my husband I'd tell him to get his ass to the SBC!!
The game is like 4 or 5 hours max. and hardly anyone pops out their kid minuetes after they go into labour. Avg. labour for 1st time mommies is 12-15 hours.
You forget that this kid has two good ankles - it'll spring right outta there.Avg. labour for 1st time mommies is 12-15 hours.![]()
Mine was 5. I'm superwoman, hear me roar!Avg. labour for 1st time mommies is 12-15 hours.
, even if my wife was having a baby tonight. I'd call the hospital first, make sure they have a TV w/the game on
There's a joke in there about popping them out at a rapid pace, but I won't make it.![]()
Ditto, except change that to "Even if I was in labor..."
