I'm tired of the guys taking it on the chin and doing nothing about it. Tonight is about hitting first and hitting harder. Time to stop fooling around and take care of business.

    Go Spurs!!
    Damn Right.

Jax is absolutely right, they haven't played like a team fighting in the WCF and potentially the finals during the past 2 games. They need to man up and play with some balls and stay focused for every second of the game, cannot slip up and lose your man for a second. Gotta be aware of everything going on.

I think you're gonna see a focused and hungry Spurs team tonight. Expect some screams from Manu, Tony, and Jax.

We can't have more ty games from the big 3. They need to play like they know how every game. In games 3 and 4, the Spurs got 4-5 subpar-to- ty performances (1 per player per game) from the big 3, and that simply can't happen. Manu and Parker need to step up, without both of them having solid games I do not see the Spurs winning. They know this, I think they'll be up for the challenge.

Damn, I'm so bloody nervous my stomach hurts!

You guys are right - we've been too nice the past two games, time to unleash some animal and take it at these young bucks rather than letting them dictate everything. We especially need Tony to get his frown on, Manu to let it roar, and Tim to get quietly furious like the 3rd Q of game 7 2005 when he carried us through the doldrums and out the other side.

We'll see. Manu should be able to handle the increased minutes but he hasn't really played over 30 mins that much this year. Not to mention Pop probably wants to save him for what most likely will be a close 4th quarter. Your idea makes sense on paper though.

In regards to KG, I don't see that having any bearing on what Pop decides or Manu's ability to play extended minutes.
He'll live if he has to average about 35 mpg in the last 2-3 games. If he can't handle that though, then the Spurs have little to no chance. Pop is an idiot when it comes to being overly cautious with him, so whether he "saves him for what most likely will be a close 4th quarter" or not, I'm sure they'll come a stretch of about 3 minutes in the fourth, when the game is in the balance, that Ginobili is sitting. He'll chance the entire season and probably their last real chance at a championship, just to buy Ginobili a reasonably extensive secondary break. Meanwhile, he'll have no problem running Parker and Duncan into the ground.

Obviously, Garnett has no bearing on what Pop decides to do with Ginobili, it was just an example.

If OKC keeps out hustling the Spurs it will be a very long night. I'd like to see the Spurs lay a real beatdown to the the Thunder tonight.

Pop refuses to talk starting lineup before the game. Manu time? Stay tuned ...

Doesn't necessarily mean anything, and if he does make a change, could be someone other then Manu.

Won't get to watch this game or the next due to my job. Spurs need to do work so Saturday's game isn't the last I get to see.
I hope you aren't scheduled for Friday

    Paul Garcia PS ‏@24writer

"He's going to make mistakes," said Pop of Kawhi playing in crunch time, "he's a rookie. He's going to end up being one heck of a player."

    Paul Garcia PS ‏@24writer

"They remind themselves," said Pop of his team not getting to excited about home court tonight, "they have kids, they're grown."

Tim Legler doesn't see how the Spurs can beat the Thunder.
