w/e, Neal blows and in the playoffs has become the SG version of Matt Bonner, they are identical: complete liability on defense who might make 1 or 2 good plays on offense.

Maybe something did happen. This could be our last game of the season and you stay home? Hope we find out the truth.
Hopefully it means that Mills gets some playing time and pulls an Ibaka going for 20+ points. Desperate time calls for desperate measures I guess.

Gary Neal lost his job in Italy in March 2010.
Friday, he tells the coach he has a sore knee and won't practice.
Saturday the team has an important game.
Sore knee his ass, he travels 150 miles and come partying in Milano with a friend.
He was stupid enough to call the GM in the middle of the night and tell him he had lost the car keys and had no idea how to get back to treviso.
He found the keys, eventually, went back and was fired the next day.

Neal and Jack are probably the only players on the team outside the Big 3 capable of creating their own shot. Not to mention hes by far the teams best and most clutch 3 point shooter.This sucks.

Reminds me of the movie The Full Monty, where the guy keeps getting up in the morning, putting on a suit and tie, and pretending to go to work because he doesn't want his wife to know he got laid off.
That's a bummer. I know he struggled in game 5 but hes one of our assassins. Ideally, you want someone like him in an elimination game..

I'm a Neal fan, too.
He can hit the big three (without being wide open when he gets the ball), he can drive and hit the mid-range jumper (a lost art) and he can even glide to the hoop and bank it high off the glass. He's a flat-out scorer that you don't need to orient the offense to in order to take advantage of.
He'll never be a great defender, but the last few games he's been working hard on D and has been fairly effective.
It's not a good sign that he's not on the plane (but there will be other planes to OKC tomorrow if he's up to it).
Damn, too bad. But honestly, he was flat out terrible in Game 5.
He shot it well in game four. This sucks.
