As long as Arians still gets to call the plays on offense I don't see this really being a problem. Greg Manusky has done an okay job as defensive coordinator this year, but I think the defense will get a lift from Pagano coaching them on game day. I say don't with what Arians has done for Andrew Luck in the offense and coach the side of the ball Jim Irsay recruited you specifically for. Colts will be aight if they do that. As the 2006 Colts proved, you can suck on defense all year and turn it on in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. Just gotta go all out for four games.

who do you think would be the better head coach for this team?

i think arians has already won over the majority of the team.

a lot of teams will be calling inquiring about him being their HC after the season.

it would be a bad PR move to fire #chuckstrong after they milked his sickness for what it was worth but it makes the most sense.

I agree that messing with it would be a bad idea, but that's why Arians should still work the offense. It's a much similar situation to Sean Payton having to miss time last season and Pete Carmichael doing so well calling plays that he got to keep doing it. Arians is not a defensive coach, but Chuck is. So I say let Chuck coach as the head coach and work the defense, but let Arians handle coaching Luck and the offense. Arians himself said that when Chuck was healthy enough to come back it would be his team again, the Colts have played this entire season with Chuck coming back to coach as the goal and now it's real. He should coach.
