Hard for me to knock on Pagan, one of the few guys who's shown up offensively for the Giants
Yeah he has been good. True point. Buster, Pence and Sandoval have been extremely disappointing

Cards are just better right now and the Giants pitching isn't as good as it has been in the past. Used to be the Giants knew they could not hit and the pitching would bail them out...Not so this time around. I can't see how the Giants can come back from this deficit with Zito going in the next game

    Sup T2Z?

Of all people, Zito, the Alex Smiff of the Giants, comes up MASSIVE. 7 2/3 shut out ball, plus a couple textbook bunts, one of which was an RBI single. Amazing. Gotta give dude props where due.

Still can't wait to offload that contract

    Back to the Bay, es!!!!!!

Good win by the Giants, came out and made a statement. Surprising Zito didn't get thumped

Dude, you have no idea how surprised I am. Cards really lost their chance when they had em loaded with nobody out early.

You just never know with the Giants

Almost broke my computer. ing Lynn, shouldn't have swung at all.

Giants are a good team, they didn't make it to NLCS for no reason. Well done

Still, there are a few things that bother me...Vogelsong is due for a bad outing and I just can't believe Carpenter will have back to back poor performances.

However, with these two teams there really is no telling. Should be a blast in game 6

Don't get me wrong, son. Los Gigantes still face an uphill battle. Really think the Cards match up better with the Tigers, anyway. But goddamn if the ride ain't fun.

I'm expecting the Giants to take this. Cards won't get this lucky for long.

    Serve the Cards right.

Are they out of starting pitching over there? LOL cards comitting kamikaze putting Carpenter on the mound when he hadn't throw a pitch in almost a year.

still early, this is the Cards, after all.

Couldn't be happier with the start by the Giants. Getting some hitting and Vogelsong looks like a killer.

Really surprised at the woeful D by St. Louis. 9 unearned so far in the series...amazing

Cards are back in it with that run. 5-1 is very doable. Either way, the Cards are a lock to win this series. They own Matt Cain.
