Well there was an illegal knee in the fight when one hand is on the ground you can't throw it.. I didn't see an illegal elbow do you mean the 12-6 one like what Jones threw and got DQ'd for with Hammill? You can't throw those straight down to the head..

Yeah, I wonder if he had some injury or sickness - I've never seen him that complacent in a fight before. He just stood there and took the beating - never trying to counterattack at all.

And how is that not illegal? The ref makes you keep your toes out of the cage when on the ground but you can use the cage to spring yourself off when on the feet.. So don't grab the cage but go ahead and spring off the cage..
Probably because a TD would never occur if they allowed you to hold onto the cage, takes away the advantage of a dominant wrestler. While jumping off the cage can be an advantage it also puts them at risk as well, someone could easily catch them mid air and slam them.
I'll still be rooting for Benson if that fight happens, I'm sure he is pissed the way that final round went for WEC le.

On the ground they tell you to keep your toes out of the cage though, that is about not getting extra leverage when on the ground to find position either from the top or the bottom.. But you can use the cage when on the feet for a strike.. I don't like it but it's my problem..
I love the excitment he brings. Hes very unpredictable, but I understand why you wouldnt like it. But in almost every fight something "illegal" happens. Whether its using the fence for a second or grabbing the tights, and as previously stated, he puts himself in a very dangerous postion to get caught with a punch or taken down.
