Gelabale signed with Valencia BC in December.
It was reported he has an NBA opt out clause
So, that's a good idea then.
Actually he is a lifelong democrat who ran for mayor as a republican.

Watch Stephen Jackson get injured by Mayor Bloomberg's waitress
By Houston Mitc January 4, 2013, 7:00 a.m.
Some mayors will do anything to help their team win. Are you paying attention, Antonio Villaraigosa?
San Antonio Spurs forward Stephen Jackson had just put up a three-point attempt from the corner Thursday night against the New York Knicks when he took a step back. Unfortunately for him, he stepped right onto a waitress who was taking an order from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The waitress was in the out-of-bounds area but was just barely off the court kneeling in front of Bloomberg, who was sitting courtside.
Jackson sprained his right ankle and had to leave the game, never to return.
So, it's time for Villaraigosa to step up. Sit courtside at all Lakers and Clippers games. Try to time your orders just right to take out the best player on the other team. It's the least you can do for the city.
By the way, Bloomberg was ordering some popcorn and a bottled water.
so youre telling me that you cant walk to your seat during play at the ATT center but a waitress can take an order on the sideline during play at msg?![]()
Bloomberg is a bag of the worst kind. him. I'm so glad he's not going to be mayor much longer.
Oh, BTW... HIM.
So . . . Who made the game thread that allowed this to happen?!
That's why I don't start any. Well, maybe one day.![]()
Ugly brunette sitting to the right of the guy in the orange jacket has a smirk on her face. Ugly mole smirking at stephen's injury. Wish jax beat the out of her.
dan mccarney @danmccarneysaen Stephen Jackson out for tonight's game, Nando De Colo recalled from Austin.
Idk why but I laughed.
Yea, it was definitely his old age that caused him to step on the stupid waitress. Good call.

(On the way Stephen Jackson was injured…)
“It is maddening. It is the same way at the ends of the court. It is an accident waiting to happen.”
(On personnel and fans going to the courtside seats during a play…)
“After what happened I have no doubt the league is going to contact people and make sure everybody shores up their discipline in that area. It is obvious that people shouldn’t be ordering beers, or cokes, or hot dogs, or whatever they ordered while the game is going on. Each arena has to have the responsibility of doing that.’
(On the seriousness of Stephen Jackson’s injury..)
“It’s not serious. He’ll miss tonight and maybe New Orleans. He will probably be 50-50 for New Orleans.”

Totally agree with Pop. Those rich s who can't be bothered to be in their courtside seats when the game is going on should have them taken away and given to real basketball fans. I hate it when those morons are walking down the sideline as the game is going on.![]()
San Antonio Spurs @spurs Stephen Jackson went through shootaround and is expected to play tonight at New Orleans. #GoSpursGo
Great news
Glad that freak ankle injury turned out to be very minor.
Good news, but I hope he does not aggravate or make it worse. I like Jackson's grit, but would rather see him healthy if a few days more would help.
^ this
It's not like we're gonna really need him vs the Hairnets.
