They are when comparing individual players.

Just be content that you lead 16>4. Trying to spin Finals MVPs as if they're meaningless in a player vs. player debate just makes you look like more of than you already are.

On a side note, you're heated tonight. I can tell. You wanted that comeback punctuated by a Kirby game winner so bad you could taste it like a freshly peeled banana.

When Clark's potential game tying shot clanked, I bet a little piece of you died inside, didn't it?
No...I would have preferred Kobe drop 40 on Duncan..we'll work our way outta this hole

    Pop rotations
    Tony "the clutch" Parker
Neal "the pg" can't pass, shoot or play defense
Earl Klark had a ing 20-10 game
    Artest looking like Larry Bird

If the Lakers didn't have Kobe we would have lost this game.

For franchises, yes. If rings are the be all, end all in player comparisons then:

    John Havilcek > Kirby

    D. Wade > Jerry West

And lol at "it's all about scoring."

Lakers have a good offense this year, dropping over a 100 routinely. It's meant jack because they forgot about the other half of the game.

    "All about scoring."

No surprise you're an A.I. fan.

you can play around with Win Shares / PER / and all sorts of other bull stats...you can call Havilcek >Kobe or Wade > West all you won't...I'm not here to argue it...all I know is that it's

    Kobe 5
    TOSB 4

    That's it and that's all

    Cool, I also know that:

    Duncan 2 reg season MVPs
    Kobe 1

    and

    Duncan 3 finals MVPs
    Kobe 2

    That's it and that's all.

^ that's why the Spurs continue to be 2nd class citizens of the NBA...it's also why Kobe has over a million more All-star votes than Duncan, Parker, and Manu combined...because you dumb s can't even decipher the basics...only in SA would Finals MVP's being more important than actual NBA les
Thinking all-star votes have any relevance to a player's ability or merit? Pretty much the definition of "dumb ."

27 shots on 24 attempts is mediocre. Kirby didn't torch , except the rim with those bricked 3s late in the 4th.

Manu took that boy's lunch tonight.
    Better than 4/12 against a d-leaguer

Dem Laker bean dips sure rocked the AT&T late in the game. I don't think the Spurs fans were that loud even in the championship years.

Story of Kobe's career...no consistent help....and it's a dam shame that Leonard can't stay in front of a 34 yr old Kobe...at least Bruce Bowen tried..and when he was trying to guard a prime Kobe...shame on Leonard...
Bryant had a sluggish start offensively and the Lakers fell behind 54-45 at the half.

His first basket came with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter and he closed the half 2 for 6 from the field. Bryant credited his poor shooting to Spurs second-year player Kawhi Leonard.

"It was Kawhi's defense," Bryant said. "He did a good job."

Kawhi is a very good defender, his development and Duncan's renaissance only reasons why I think Spurs have a slim shot at a le.
Im guessing this team is beaten in the WCF though unless they get Clips. I knoe the Clips look to be the better team but I just dont trust them yet ... and can easily see duncan gettingtheir bigs in foul trouble with his foot-work.

Duncan's renaissance is the key, he is struggling the last 3 games and as a result the whole team is suffering. His overall impact on the Spurs is quite underrated imho, without him this squad is nothing special even at his old age.
